Common supports include morning and evening routines, assistance with meals and household tasks, prompts for medication, help to attend appointments, and coaching to share responsibilities with housemates so the home runs smoothly.
These supports usually sit under Assistance with Daily Life (includes SIL). Items such as Assistance in a Shared Living Arrangement are listed in the Support Catalogue and Pricing Arrangements; they describe how the item is claimed (for example, hourly support that may be apportioned across residents).
Registered providers must meet the NDIS Practice Standards (rights, safety, governance, incident management) and specific quality requirements for supported accommodation.
